The Port of Sohar operates from three industrial clusters: a petrochemical cluster, a metal cluster and a logistics cluster. The petrochemical cluster consists of a refinery and production plants for aromatics, formaldehyde, methanol, polyethylene, polypropylene, urea etc. The metal cluster includes a steel complex and aluminum production plant.
